When deciding to build out the interior of our Land Rover Defender into a camper, we searched every inch of the internet for as much information as we could find about the subject.
Despite there being oodles of information about building the interior of sprinter vans and VW's, we couldn't find much specifically related to Defenders. So we've decided to try and document our build the best we can, in the hopes it might help anyone else out looking to start a similar journey 💛
Why a Land Rover Defender?
We've heard this a lot since buying the Landy, and it is a viable question. Its interior is smaller than almost any other camper or van life alternative, it leaks and is pretty darn loud, there's no hope of heating or air conditioning and it's allegedly very unreliable...
Maybe ask us again in three years time but for now, our answer is this:
It has the potential to take us somewhere truly wilder...
